For the release of the new Asics Gel-Kayano we travelled to Queenstown NZ to create a running spot for rebel on the edge of a mountain. The scenery was beautiful, the temperature very cold.
Huge shout out to the cast and crew of Queenstown locals who helped make the shoot run incredibly smoothly.

Online & Cinema Campaign
For the launch of the 2016/17 cricket season we once again worked with rebel to produce a cinematic campaign that would be seen on TV, online and in cinema.
As well as the commercial spot we created a series of online videos showcasing the players that were launched as exclusive content through google.
The shoot took place over a number of days in Sydney, Melbourne and Boston. The commercial was the brain child of Luke Brocklehurst, directed by Myles Conti, produced by Karl Conti, dop Tom Gleeson, edited by Lucas Bradley & Myles Conti, post production by The Refinery.
The social videos were directed & edited by Lucas Bradley, filmed by Nick Stanbrook.
The Australian description of an ideal home is a physical and material concept. A quarter-acre block, with a decent sized kitchen and a big back yard.
For a refugee on Manus or Nauru, home is a prison, with no release date.
Directed by Lucas Bradley, Produced by Karl Conti, DOP Lucas Tomoana. Thanks to Greg at Take 2 and Lumen Arty for their support of this project.
The idea was simple enough - a guy runs on an open road at night, and is surrounded by lasers. The execution however, took a lot of planning, building and a very long shoot day.
We wanted to use actual lasers, rather than try and add them in post, as we knew it would generate the best result, however in order to do this we needed to shoot in a studio - so that meant we needed to build a 25 meter road, lay down 2 tonnes of dirt, rig several large laser boxes, hang 50 meters of blacks and get creative with our grip gear to ensure that we could move as fast as our runner.
A lot of man (and woman) hours went into the build and the production, but it was all worth it for the end result.
Creative Luke Brocklehurst, directed and edited by Myles Conti, produced by Karl Conti, dop Dan Freene, lasers by Oracle Liquid and set construction by Yippee Ki Yay.

To launch the latest range of football boots for 2015, we worked with rebel, nike, adidas, asics, puma and umbro to bring all the brands together under the one roof.
Featuring players from the AFL, NRL and A-League, the players collectively use their unique skills to infiltrate rebel HQ to pull of the ultimate heist.
Creative Luke Brocklehurst, directed & edited by Myles Conti, produced by Karl Conti, dop Dan Freene, music Kris Macken, post-production fin design.
The idea for rebel's "with you for the long run" was to depict a girl at various stages of her life from 5 to 55, as she runs in 30 seconds.
Casting this spot was the first major challenge, the second was fitting all 8 scenes into a 2 day shoot. Despite the challenges it was a fun shoot, and we got to play with some cool toys, most noticeably a segue and drone.
We had a VR rig on set so you can watch behind the scenes from all angles.
Creative Luke Brocklehurst, directed & edited by Myles Conti, produced by Karl Conti, dop Tom Gleeson.

It's not everyday that one gets to edit with such powerful and emotive images, and as such this was a truly enjoyable job. Set against the children's song "Twinkle, twinkle little star", the spot examines the theme of Terrorism, and how this theme is reported on across the multiple news and current affairs brands of SBS - under the tagline "small world, big thinking".

No job is without its challenges - but this job had a few more than most - needing to get players from multiple football codes in multiple states to all appear together at once.
The solution was to shoot across a number of days in both Melbourne and Sydney - filming almost entirely on green screen in studio.
We teamed up with the Goodman Brothers to undertake the arduous task of VFX, over 60 shots in total. With every background needing to be created as matte paintings and tracked in, as well as the creation of ominous skies and glowing meteors and beams.
As well as filming the talent and boots, we spent a lot of time taking still shots to be stitched together to create the backgrounds for every shot.
Creative Luke Brocklehurst, directed & edited by Myles Conti, produced by Karl Conti, dop Dan Freene, post-production the Goodman Brothers.
From Sydney to Broken Hill - that's how far we made Jenna run, ensuring she really did "go the distance."
